Vitamin D and Vitamin C are also essential for good oral hygiene. Almost all commercial milk products contain high amounts of Vitamin D and the body can also make its own. Just 15 minutes of direct sunlight exposure is enough to get all the Vitamin D your body needs. Vitamin C will strengthen the gums and heighten your immunity level. This ingredient can be found in common fruits and vegetables such as oranges, apples, Brussels sprouts, and broccoli.

Formation of plaque is the beginning of almost all dental diseases since it contains a high amount of bacteria. Sugar is a big part of many people’s diet, but it is also a key ingredient for causing dental problems. Even natural sugars such as molasses and honey are bad for the teeth, so they should be avoided as much as possible.
